Amazon Fire TV stick completely changed my entertainment experience. The setup was so easy. I plugged it into my TV and connected to Wi-Fi in no time. The on-screen instructions were clear and straightforward. Alexa voice recognition is robust and catchy. Streaming is smooth, and I haven't encountered any buffering issues. Besides, its compactable size was perfect for the space in the back of tv. Most interesting, its connects with the mobile app without effort. So i can control the TV with my mobile also.

My kid accidentally destroyed the remote for our Fire TV, and when I was looking for a replacement, I ran across this. You get the fire stick and the remote, for less than it costs to replace the remote. So, I got it.


It's super easy to set up. You plug the fire stick into the TV, put batteries in the remote, and follow the prompts. If you're not seeing it on your screen, switch your input from Input 1 to Input 2 with your TV remote, and there it is. I wish it was anywhere near this easy to program my replacement Spectrum cable remote.


Once you have this set up, you can access all your favorite streamers. We use streaming a lot. Disney plus, Netflix, Amazon Prime Videos, IMDB TV, YouTube, Hulu, etc. So we use Amazon's Fire TV a lot. It's easy to install, and easy to use. And if I could get Morning Joe to stream their entire four hour show, I would get rid of cable completely and switch over to just streaming.

I first ordered this for an old Tv which didn’t have smart app capabilities and a degrading remote. Not only does the fire stick work well for older lcd televisions, it also operates most of the functions like powering the tv on/off, volume, and arrows up and down, back and forth.


The picture quality is high definition as long as the tv supports high definition quality. Sound is also dependent upon the tv speakers. This could be a great thing to take to a parent or grandparent’s home who may not have a smart TV, but you want to have a movie night there. It’s small and lightweight, and only bulky enough to account for the power cord—which makes it incredibly portable.


It’s a relatively inexpensive way to get use out of an older television with HDMI hookups. With daily use, the stick will work a great couple of years.
