Have owned this unit for about a year and it performs well. Produces several ice cubes between 7 - 9 min a cycle based on whether u choose large or small cubes. Cubes will be small at beginning of cycle if water in Reservoir is room temp. Once water is cool cubes or bullets will be correct size. There is a drainplug in bottom of unit that is helpful as tipping the unit to empty or clean may be more difficult for some as it has some weight to it. For complaints - only one : as unit dumps ice into the basket it tends to fill or ice accumulates to one side and then eventually trips overflow sensor, so you end up with a half basket. Basically if your near the unit you may need to flip open the top and give the basket a shake to settle the ice. Also I've read reviews on similar products where people don't understand how these units work and complain the ice melts when the units is full and sits. It's not a freezer and for $90 or so dollars it's stupid to think that it's an ice box in my opinion, its not it does require a little monitoring. These are perfect in an office setting or as a backup or for additional ice making if your having a party. I am not paid for this review and hope its helpful.

Since the ice maker within my refrigerator no longer functions, THIS handy-dandy counter top ice maker has changed everything - 4 months and counting, for myself and 16 guests who’ve visited me! No more time consuming messiness filling ices cube trays and spilling the water on me and on the floor as I walked from sink to freezer, and no more loss of freezer space stacking them, hoping they don’t tip over. Ice generates continually ensuring those perfect sized delights are always available, the machine pauses itself when the plastic bucket inside is full - and it holds a generous amount. Mine is black which makes it attractive without distracting or standing out. Recently, my machine generated enough ice to keep food cold in an average sized cooler as I traveled for 3 hours. I give it 5 stars for appearance, stability, quality, and helpfulness. Now that I have one for my cottage, I’m ordering a second one for my home because you guessed it, the ice maker within my not quite two year old deluxe Samsung refrigerator also stopped working.
